Today’s second inspiring woman warrior is Deepti Manoj Gujar.
Deepti is a Commerce graduate originally from Pune, but she is now settled in Wai, in the Satara district. She is a very lively, active, and cheerful woman who believes in working with enthusiasm and positivity.
Her family includes her husband, two daughters, and her in-laws. They all support and encourage her in her journey, which has played an important role in her growth.
Representing the spirit of a modern woman, Deepti has always been passionate about learning more about both modern and traditional jewellery. She also enjoys making new friends and connecting with people.
When her daughters grew a little older, she found that she had more time for herself. That was the moment she decided that she should step out and do something meaningful for herself. Soon, the idea of starting her own business came to her mind. She transformed her passion into a profession and created her own brand — Nakshatra Collection.
Through Nakshatra Collection, she sells and rents out beautiful imitation jewellery for different occasions.
Like every entrepreneur, Deepti also faced several challenges in the beginning. Arranging capital and building a customer base were the biggest hurdles. However, she did not give up. She actively participated in many exhibitions, which not only helped her gain customers but also boosted her confidence. Even today, she continues to set up stalls at exhibitions and proudly showcases and sells her jewellery.
Adding another dimension to her entrepreneurial journey, she also started Deepti’s Makeover, a venture where she offers different types of makeover services such as bridal makeup, engagement makeup, baby shower makeup, and more.
During this journey, she also had to listen to many comments from people. Since her husband is a Class One officer, some people would say that a Class One officer’s wife does not need to work. But Deepti never allowed such opinions to shake her self-respect. With determination and confidence, she continued building her business.
Today, Deepti is skilled in both online and offline business platforms. Her dedication, courage, and persistence are truly inspiring.
For the past five to six years, she has been actively participating in exhibitions and various events, continuously promoting and expanding her products with great enthusiasm.
I truly salute her determination and spirit. Women like Deepti deserve to be highlighted and celebrated. Their businesses deserve a place on the global map, where the world can recognize their passion, courage, and entrepreneurial strength. ![]()
On the occasion of international women’s Day I want to highlight Dipti’s courage, passion.
