Thanks for sharing @Velvel gelato always melts quicker than heavy custard based ice cream because it is only just frozen. It is always on the verge of melting and generally speaking there is less fat to bind it. Eat quickly but avoid the dreaded brain freeze. I love a good gelato too.
My favourites come from Jocks Ice Cream and Pidapipó Windsor they both achieve 5 stars from me for their product and their friendly service. Last time I was at Pidapipo the server actually did a little dance for me while she made up my cone.
From Jocks I love the licorice ice-cream and from Pidapipo the ricotta and fig gelato is stunningly good.
