Before getting to the village, you will cross many farmland - very good to go in Summer!
From Seattle, through 90 - we will cross the national forest for several miles. In Winter, the view along the way from Snoqualmie pass to the village is just unbelievably beautiful with snow and snow on Christmas trees along the way!
Communities endeavour to maintain their traditions even after migrating to a new territory. Do the folks here prefer to converse in the German language too?
I donât hear anyone speak German it was established in 1885 - long time ago @C_T and given the fact that I visited during Covid time, only local Americans are there - normally it would be very very busy!
Right, I think if I go in normal time, there would be so many people or too crowded as even with the pandemic, still I saw many people coming here with their kids and families @Austinelewex it is unplanned trip - when we had 4 in the car (3 are driver) we could go that far. Along the way, there were always snow!
Wow this village looks awesome, thanks for sharing, I already saved it in my âwant to visitâ list! Your pictures are beautiful! The picture with the horses reminded me visiting Neuschwanstein castle
Thank you for sharing @Sophia_Cambodia . I live in Bavaria and I must say that it looks very authentic. I explored it a little bit in StreetView and there are lot more Bavarian houses.
Yes it is true @LudwigGermany it is not a very big town though, but it is truly charming and you can just stroll around for many hours. It is refreshing! There are gift shops, eatery and brewery which is very rich!
Hehehehe, to be honest, some terms or names I donât know about @Ant_Bad_Yogi I know you are so German through your various posts in Connect - it didnât surprised me you love to picture it that way.
Hi dear @renata1 thank you, yes lovely place without my make up! Yes I went to visit my relatives over there. It is a difficult journey when in pandemic but I came back safe and sound.
