Lasagna and chocolate cake.... sounds like a plan

Hello, my friends!

It´s been a while since I posted something in this category! Well, today I wanted to share something we made at home for my wife´s birthday: Lasagna and Chocolate cake with strawberries and blueberries, and I say we made because everybody helped, my daughters, I did the shopping though LOL What happens is that because of the lockdown we prefer to cook almost everything. I also bought a bottle of wine to have a real feast and we did. Of course, I might get a few extra pounds but well… life is short. :grinning:

I hope you enjoy the collage I made!

Best wishes,

Marco … from Peru!

You had me at lasagna and chocolate cake @marcorp - perhaps two of my top eats, ever. I’ve always loved lasagna and seeing yours reminded me of one we made a couple of weeks ago:

I played a small part of creating it but it was quite the sight to see it come together. A tomato based sauce that simmered for about 3 hours, ground turkey and pork, and a variety of cheeses and seasonings and broiled at the end to give the cheese a nice crisp. Needless to say I enjoyed this very much!

If you want to see another interesting Italian recipe, you can take a look at this traditional dessert, prepared by @Sillaepepe : RISINI DI VERONA, dolce tipico a base di riso.
