- 108-ft Vishnu Vishwaroopam Statue: Its major attraction is the colossal monolithic statue of Lord Vishnu in the Vishwaroopa (cosmic) form, carved from a single 420-ton granite block. Standing 108 feet high—a number considered sacred in Hinduism—it symbolizes spiritual completeness and cosmic unity.
- Art & Symbolism: The statue features many divine aspects (including Narasimha, Hanuman and other forms) intricately sculpted according to classical iconographic principles, blending traditional artistry with modern scale.
History & Vision
- Concept & Founder: The idea for the monumental Vishwaroopam project was conceived around 2010 by spiritual visionary Dr. B. Sadanand. The long-term goal has been to create a landmark spiritual site that reflects India’s cultural and religious heritage.
- Construction Journey: The granite monolith was sourced from Tamil Nadu, transported to Bengaluru, and sculpted by skilled artisans over many years before its consecration in June 2025 with traditional Vedic rites and Mahakumbhabhisheka.
- Charitable Trust Activities: Beyond temple services, the Trust conducts daily annadanam (free food), educational support, health camps, and spiritual programs (bhajans, Vishnu Sahasranama chanting), aiming to serve both devotional and social needs.
