Lamb Bamya

Last year I have visited Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia before the COVID-19 pandemic. At that time I had chance to visit few places in the city and enjoyed local foods and also had my lunch from a local restaurant called Sahara Tent Restaurant. It’s a nice and popular restaurant and it is situated at Bukit Bintang, a busy place in the city.

I have ordered Lamb Bamya, Nan, Water and a Coffee for my lunch.

Lamb Bamya

The Lamb Bamya is one kind of Lamb curry, the lamb chop into small pieces and then cooks with tomato, onion and olives. It is usually serves with Nan and fresh salad.

The interior looks beautiful and nicely decorated, environment also cool. The POI of the restaurant in Google Maps.

Thank you so much for your comment @KamalHossenR vai. The taste of this food is different, not spicy like us. I can say it is a bit similar to Meat Keema curry in our country.

Hello @PritishB dada,

thank you for your lovely comment, indeed it is delicious food i have tried in Malaysia.

I too am hearing the name for the first time.

Of course, as a pure vegetarian, my non-veg vocabulary is zero.

Happy that you enjoyed the food.

All the best @AbdullahAM

I have tried so many times Indian vegetarian curry with Chapati (we usually called it Roti in Bengali রুটি). My colleagues was from Gujrat, he used different types of vegetable to cook the curry and varieties of Masala @TravellerG
