Are the houses in this area housing tourists all year around or do they work on a seasonal basis @OlgaKlimchik ?
@MortenSI Not seasonal I think. Usually Carpathians are visited in winter, I went there in summer, people live there all year long and want to earn money all year long too of course. I didn’t read that some hotel work seasonally, but if even such hotels exist you can find others.

@Ruxellan Of course you can visit Sinevir at any time. I was in the summer and it was pleasant visit. Late spring and early autumn I think would be similar.
In the winter people write Sinevir is very beautiful too. You can ride on a sledge or rent the ski equipment, the slopes are gentle for beginners.
But I wasn’t there in winter.
The way upstairs is long (about half an hour in summer) and rises quick. It’s wide, well-maintained and not difficult in summer, moreover there are cars which can drive you for additional pay upstairs, but I can say nothing about the way maintenance in winter, maybe everything is ok.

I thought it would get very cold during the winters but I’m sure both seasons have their benefits.

In Poltava where I live, no less beautiful, there are no mountains, but there are greens around))

@_25_1 А я не была в Полтаве. Много где можно найти красивые места. Озеро Нарочь в Беларуси не менее красивое, чем Синевир, правда, гор там нет.

I don’t live near the lake Sinevir, I’m from Minsk, Belarus and was with exursion there. It’s a pity we were not near the statues, you can only see them in the background on the other side in my photos, but you can look the photos in maps.

@OlgaKlimchik на счет озера Нарочь, моя очень близкая подруга мне очень много рассказывала о своей юности проведённой летом в окрестностях этого озера. Ольга, может быть Вы могли бы что-то поделиться своими впечатлениями или фотографиями. Я была бы очень признательна. 
На Нарочи я была всего один раз, но по настоящему влюбилась в это озеро. Если говорить откровенно, оно впечатлило меня больше, чем Синевир. Синевир красив иначе, больше за счет красивого интересного подъёма со множеством живописных ручьев, смерековых лесов вдоль берега, но Синевир - небольшое озеро.
Возможно Нарочь так впечатлила меня от того, что я не ожидала увидеть такого в Беларуси. Озеро действительно огромное. Лебеди, очень много, и взрослые и лебедята, это очень красиво.
В санатории Нарочь отдыхала свекровь с моим сыном, мы приезжали в гости, снимали квартиру в поселке Нарочь. Кстати, небольшой, но очень уютный поселок. Вход на территорию санатория свободный, гуляли там все вместе. Санаторий, в общем как и весь город и все озеро окружен лесами (в Беларуси леса в основном хвойные - ели и сосны), ездили по грибы, грибов в Беларуси много.
Единственный недостаток, мы так и не решились купаться, была жаркая погода, рядом огромное озеро, обидно. Хотя с понтона вроде как можно и люди купались. Местные купались и без понтона, говорят, ну покраснеет, почешется, у всех по разному, у кого больше, у кого меньше. Поэтому ехать лучше, когда прохладно, чтобы купаться не хотелось.
Фотографии посмотрю, сегодня не обещаю.
