On last two days of January 2020, specifically when the coronavirus pandemic outbreak started to scare the world, Turkey had not confirmed any case back then .
I had a scheduled flight that night, when i arrived at the airport i went to get my boarding pass, wearing my face mask when i noticed the travelers and the people who are hogging the terminal not wearing a mask or any kind of protection.
Of course Turkey at that time had not confirmed any corona virus “COVID-19” case, Turkey was very lucky at the time as the society of Turkey is well known for its sanitary, suddenly a young lady ,probably in her thirty’s approached me with a high level of curiosity to ask where I had got the mask?
I felt very happy and pleased to answer with full interest to help, in fact the mask, i had bought it from a pharmacy somewhere outside the airport , while the airport i was in, had a full service pharmacy working 24/7 like all Turkish airport pharmacies,
The pharmacy was near where i stood, so i pointed out my hand towards the shop.
The lady rushed immediately over there, entered the pharmacy to buy some masks, then as soon as she bought them , she wore one mask with an immense feeling of pleasure and safety , many people noticed me and her wearing masks had also started to wonder where to buy them.
Within an hour during my staying in the airport and before being processed by the immigration department i observed plenty of people who were in the vicinity, had started wearing their face masks .
I would like to say that many people who are traveling have masks of their own, probably in their brief or attached cases , but they did not feel the need to wear them, not before others anyway
I can say with confidence that i was the bright blink that had inspired the travelers to relief the dress of scruple when i had used the mask.
