Kund Malir Beach - A gem of Balochistan, Pakistan

I’m literally posting here after a year because due to covid19, I was not exploring places. Finally, I decided to check out some new beaches and get a good breath of fresh air.

Kund Malir is a beach situated around Balochistan, Pakistan.

It will take roughly 4-5 hours to reach there, if you’re travelling from Karachi. Ideally, I would suggest you to leave early morning from Karachi, just 10-15 minutes before the sunrise. This way, you’d witness good weather and sunrise on the road. The drive from Karachi to Kund Malir was quite reasonable; we didn’t witness bumpy or broken roads. Highway during daytime was empty; hence your drive was smooth till there.

We were basically on the way to Ormara and stopped here to take a break and enjoy the moment. As soon as you stop by, there’s a fence from where you can see the beach with blue and green water. They also have public toilets and a few benches to sit upon. You can easily spend an hour here before heading forward.

Apart from this, if you wish to stay there for a night, you can Google some trips, there are many with other fun activities and tours around nearby places like Princess of Hope. The pictures I have shared aren’t doing justice to what my eyes witnessed there.

For people who ask whether or not Balochistan is safe for families, it is 100% safe. I went with my family too.

Extra tip: remember to carry sunscreen/sunblock, sunglasses, hat, and power bank

Hey @AlinaManiar ,

It looks like a nice place to go. Are there many tourists in the area?

Did you know you can also add the Google Maps link to the place you mentioned in your post? This will help other Local Guides understand better where it is located and could help them find more additional information such as recently added reviews and photos.

You can edit your post just by clicking on the three dots on the left: Edit your post - Why and How To.

@TsekoV Yes, there are tourists around the area and I’m sure a link would be helpful. I didn’t know I can add it up, will do it from now onwards. Thank you so much.
