Hi friends ,

And Dear senior LG .

Tea is an essential drink of our day to day life. I know so many of you are tea lovers and drink tea 3 to 4 times a day .Tea and its business has been rising in India for a long time. I think before our independence , there was a tea trading monopoly of the East India Company in India . Tea is basically leaf and prepared through different methods , sometimes with milk and sometimes with lemon. I like to drink lemon tea usually , but when it comes with milk I would like to take in Kulhad ,now you are wondering what Kulhad is ? What is kulhad tea? Basically when we drink tea in an earthen pot it becomes kulhad chai .

People drink tea in different vessels like Glass Cup , plastic cup, paper cup , metal cup, China cup etc . but generally we use either plastic or paper cup , that is not good for our health , plastic or paper mix with hot tea and to our stomach some study find that it leading many various disease while intaking tea in plastic or paper cup. As we all know that metal and China cups are quite more costly so it is not possible to use them everywhere especially in shops where a large number of people come to drink tea , so the last option is an earthen pot. It does not react with hot tea so it retains its nutrients inside it . It is also eco-friendly and does not pollute our environment , it is cheaper than other cups , it generates employment for small pot makers and many more benefits to using this kulhad while drinking tea .

How did these kulhad form or manufacture ?

They are formed or manufactured by potters with clay , they bring soil from field mash with water and make it soft so as to give shape to it . they give shape on potter wheel then leave it in sunlight for few days they make sure also that no water can contact it , if water will come into contact it will defame and loose their structure , after few day they put inside it in hot chamber that is furnace , this give strength and hardness of that cup , it usually takes 48 to 72 hours to day and become more solid , and the last step is coloured them with certain colour we called it maroon .

In my locality or area many people started their business in Tea and after the covid period it came into trend because it is one time use . I added so many Tea shops on the map, many of them created by me and some of them updated , but everywhere the demand for this kulhad is growing.

Drinking kulhad chai has numerous benefits , like boosting immunity , reducing stress , proper digestion ,controlling blood sugar and many more . Indian traditional beverage is contributing its part in society by making people fit and fresh .

I had posted so many photos and videos of kulhad chai on the map. These help people here to find or discover new tea shops .

This traditional drink occupies a special place in Indian people’s hearts and love to drink this kulhad tea. I asked some people why they love or drink kulhad tea. They told me kulhad chai not only tastes like tea but also gives the taste of the soil of my motherland. Have you ever drunk this type of beverage ? What is your favourite beverage ? if you have any memories with you fav. Beverage you can share with us and write some words why you like that .

I am just concluding my fav, beverage here and hope for your response on this topic .

Thank you so much .

Whenever you come to Bihar and meet me I will definitely ask you to take or drink kulhad chai , thank you so much .

First of all I would like to thank you for bringing this post @RaviSharma111 . Tea is my favorite beverage. As you said drinking hot beverages in plastic or paper cups are very harmful to our health. Here in Chennai too we get these kind of cups, but not in all places. I started carrying my cup nowadays. Sharing small business in Maps is very useful to the community.

Kulhad chai has always been my favourite and not only because of the taste of chai that gets enhanced but also because it is made from mother nature and earth is the best healer. First memory was drinking tea in train and on delhi railway station and last was at pvr saket market. A must try experience, the authenticity is genuinely intriguing. Thank you for sharing this.
