Back in the 1990s, the City of Los Angeles had the official Korea Town label. Now times have changed, and the City of Buena Park can claim that title.
I grew up in this city before all the Korean restaurants came. But now it’s the hub of Korean food. With authentic Korean dishes like short rib soup, soft tofu soup, all you can eat Korean BBQ and Korean Chinese food, the community of Koreans continue to grow. They have started families here and called it their home.
I have a real passion towards representing Buena Park. I enthusiastically tell people from work and new people I meet to visit and get the best Korean food outside of Korea. I may sound like a broken record to some, but to others, they know far to well that I’m speaking truth. Some have mentioned they see my pictures on Google and ask for recommendations, and I smile because people appreciate my work. I love being a Local Guide because I can be who I am. A the same time, I can be in my hometown I grew up for over twenty years. And there’s nothing that can beat that!
