This issue is resolved. All Street View trusted photographers should now be able to see their trusted badge on Connect. The Street View boards, however, will not be accessible to anyone after 18 December 2020 when they are due to be archived.
Due to an issue we’re experiencing with our platform, some photographers who recently published 50 Maps-approved 360 photos and gained the Street View trusted certification are not being awarded the respective badge on Connect. This in turn is preventing them from accessing the exclusive Street View boards on here and being able to interact with other members of the trusted community.
We wanted to let you know that we are aware of this issue and our engineers are actively working to resolve it as soon as possible. We’ll make sure to update this post once we know more.
In the meantime, if you have any Street View-related queries, please feel free to reply in the comments below and a Google Moderator will put you in touch with the Street View team.
@SonyaN Thanks. A few of the people I know had this issue, I have checked for some of them, and they already received the badge. We will try to point others who have issues to reply to this post.
Thank you very much @SonyaN for the update, I was also having this issue since several months and now got the badge. There were many Local Guides in the same situation and we will point them here when necessary.

I’ve got SMS on behalf of Google Street View teams. They asked me and asked me to wait. But my patience’s damages is broken. Should I not get the Street View Photographer or Trusted Photographer Badge?
@SonyaN It’s great to hear some updates finally . So, many of us got trusted badge on profile and even on connect . But I can’t download the trusted badge and other things . Even the listing form is not working . We are not listed on the website . So, please try to give us at least the reinforcement I mean badge download and branding permission .
Hi @SonyaN , thanks for sharing this update. I have over 200 approved Street View images and each time I try to apply to be a Trusted Photographer, I get an error message that 50 approved photos are required. It’s been over a year now and it’s still the same problem. Please see screenshot below
Hi, @KrysPin95 , I’m very sorry about that. You should have received an email linking to this form, where you can read the following statement: “The Street View trusted program is currently under revamp which also includes our sign up process. At present, we are not accepting any new applications through this form. Once the new program is officially launched, our team will inform you via email. In this transitional period, you will see the trusted badge on your profile in the Street View app but won’t be able to get yourself listed on the for-hire index, update your contact information if you’re already listed, or download the trusted badge from our website.”
Hi I have taken more than 50 360 photos and they were all Published and accepted but I cannot seem to gain the google trusted badge to put on my website or to show credibility for clients. How can I get access to the badge?
