Visiting a monument could be daunting, especially in a new city.
Knowing the pitfalls before visiting a place can be a huge time saver.
Take for example the Bibi-Ka-Maqbara monument in Aurangabad.
I, @Raj_Tayade , and @Nidhish_Jaju will discuss these topics online using Google Maps.
Parking - is not where you thought it was.
Ticketing Window - is not where you thought it was.
Ticket booking - is not how you thought it would work.
Drinking Water is not where you thought it is.
Monuments within the campus - not to miss.
Other nearby attractions - not to miss.
How to reach the monument - avoid pitfalls and traffic.
Suggestions from @TravellerG that we will cover:
The best month of the year to visit.
The best time of the day to visit.
Photography is allowed?
DSLR or Mobile?
Photography Charges.
Accommodation.
Restaurants.
Vegetarian food.
Suggestions from @Mayank_Ahir that we will cover:
Availability of guided tours.
Cultural Sensitivity: Etiquette and behavior expectations at the site.
Security Measures and security checks
Precautions that visitors should be aware of.
Examples:
- Removing shoes outside the temples.
- Cover your head inside a Gurudwara.
- DO NOT remove shoes inside a church.
- No whispering, not talking inside the Bahai Lotus Temple - in Delhi.

@TravellerG
Would you like to do an episode in this series - for Mahabalipuram?
Just like this meetup, you can highlight and educate travelers about:
-
Ticketing.
-
Parking.
-
Layout and various monuments.
-
Best way to get there.
-
Food facility,
-
Drinking water facility.
Any other topic that you think a traveler to Mahabalipuram should know?
I am going to do the next one for the Qutub Minar complex of Delhi.
It is huge and spread out with a large number of monuments.
I hope you find this idea appealing.

Another big question I always have is: Whether photography is allowed using Mirrorless Cameras or only mobile photography is allowed or both are are banned? If yes, what are the charges.
-
As you are aware, I need to hunt for an accommodation and also a restaurants as I am a pure vegetarian.
May be this will be helpful… just out of my experience…

Brilliant suggestions
@TravellerG greatly appreciated
The day I conducted a meetup at this place, only 2 of 8 expected local guides turned up - all citing extreme weather in May.
Other points as suggested by you include quick food bites, lunch menu, Veg meal options nearby, where to stay, permission for photography and videography and their charges.

Superb suggestions, dear @Mayank_Ahir
I too think these are essential and should be known beforehand to avoid embarrassment.
Examples:
-
Remove shoes outside the temples.
-
Cover your head inside a Gurudwara.
-
DO NOT remove shoes inside a church - though not compulsory.
-
No whispering, not talking inside the Bahai Lotus Temple - in Delhi.
Also, I remember that absolutely no plastic bags and no food were allowed inside the Central Park in Thane where we had a meetup last week.
Greatly appreciate it, dear @Maximilianozalazar
Salute to your spirit
The idea though is to encourage local guides to conduct similar online meetups and discuss precautions and tips for their favorite monuments with the world.
Hope that you too would be able to host a similar meetup
