Kirti Stambh "Tower of Fame".

Kirti Stambh means Tower of Fame and it was built by the Digambar Jain Community in 12th century. It’s dedicated to the first Tirthankar of Jainism Lord Adinath also known as Rishabhdev. It’s a 75’ high tower built with sandstone. Carving work and decorative motifs are major attraction. To access the peak it has narrow staircase.

All the sides Adinath Ji’s giant Sculpture are delivering the message of the most ancient religion. He is having many names such as Adeshvara, Nabheya, Prithamaraja etc and was the founder of Jainism also he was the founder of Nath Dynasty. He was a Ford maker.

We were on a tour of Rajsthan by road and we enjoyed this exciting tour. Chittorgarh is one of the most prestigious hill fort and was ruled by Sisodias who were known as Maha Rana.

The fort of Chittode is world famous for its heritage and history. Tourists are astonished to see the ancient architecture and amazing workmanship on the stones. Incidents of two big mass suicide were committed**hin this fort. It’s a World Heritage site. Entry fee is to be paid for all the monuments combinely and it’s auite affordable.
