@AdamGT The zamindar house of Kanasat is located in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district under Rajshahi division.
The early men of the clan of the zamindar house of Kansat formerly lived in the village of Korizhakir in Bogra district. Thereupon the bandit chiefs began to oppress them. Due to this, they came from there and settled in Muktagacha in Mymensingh district. Later, he came to the village of Kansat in Chapainawabganj district and settled there. Then here they introduced the zamindari system. However, it is not known when they launched the zamindari. The main founders of this zamindar dynasty are Suryakanta, Sashikanta and Sita Shankantha. These zamindars were Muslim haters. Among the zamindars, they were better known as Muslim haters. They were involved in the expulsion of the Muslims in the 5th. After which the Hindu-Muslim riots started. Later, the Muslims of the 12 unions of the village of Bajitpur, led by Shampur Chowdhury’s house, protested the agitating movement and filed a case against the landlord’s house. As a result, Kansas’ landlord Shitsangu Babu apologizes to the Muslim community. Thus, the history of these zamindars is made in the minds of the people. Later, after the partition of the land, the zamindari of the zamindar’s house also collapsed.
At present, the landlord’s house is in ruins due to negligence and neglect. And the landlord’s house is covered with plants and trees.
