Kham Island Chonburi, Thailand (Koh Kham)

Koh Kham, Chonburi province is a quiet island. And not far from Bangkok, convenient to travel, not crowded Because each day the number of people on the island is limited. The sea water is very clear and there are activities that can be done including snorkeling, kayaking. :desert_island: :grinning:

Hi @TheOilly94

Thanks for sharing these beautiful photos! What an amazing place. Do you live in Thailand? Tell us more about this island. Do you often go there? How do you get there from Bangkok?

I love how clear the sea is and the beaches are really beautiful. I canโ€™t wait to visit Thailand, Iโ€™ve heard so many wonderful things and Iโ€™d like to experience these places myself as well. Thanks! :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you @DanniS
At Victory Monument, there is a van taxi to Sattahip. (Ask the queue van taxi first to arrive at Kilometer 5). When arriving at Sattahip Kilometer 5 and then take a motorcycle taxi 50 baht (tell the driver that you want to go Koh Kham) and buy a ticket to take a boat to Koh Kham (Kham Island). From there, when getting the ticket, have to take minibus to the pier to catch a boat, 20-50 baht per person

time
Go : 08.30 / 09.30 / 10.00 / 11.00 hrs.
Back : 13.30 / 14.30 / 15.30 / 16.30 hrs.

Foreigner ticket price

  • Adult 500 baht per person
  • Children 90-120 cm tall, 300 baht per person
Including travel and return shower fee for free! Glass bottom boat This price does not include diving equipment. (Want to dive 50 baht per set)

Practices for tourists visiting the island

  1. Ko Kham Underwater Park reserves the right without prior notice to travel to the island. In the event that the weather conditions are unexpectedly unfavorable
  2. Ecotourism By focusing on truly appreciating nature And do not allow tourists to stay on the island.
  3. There is food on the island Drinking water and snacks are sold at regular prices.
  4. Food is not allowed to be packed in a foam box. Or bottled / glass beverages onto the island
  5. Not recommended to buy food from the shore Because some foods Will smell of disturbing others And some species are food that flies like As well as being a burden to carry Which will not be easy to get on the boat but if necessary please bring enough food to eat only Because the rest of the food will increase the amount of garbage on the island
  6. No pets are allowed on the island.
  7. Limit coral viewing In the event that the sea level drops to a danger to coral reefs
  8. Do not touch, touch, or trample coral As well as prohibiting the collection of shells, remains, coral reefs, or vegetation on the island.
  9. Please treat, help preserve the natural environment Do not bring harmful materials to the environment on the island.
  10. Do not use soap and shampoo. When returning, please help to collect the garbage or any leftovers that you bring back to the shore as well.
This method of traveling may be tricky for foreigners. But will save a lot of money
If not convenient to travel by yourself You can travel with the tour. But the price I donโ€™t know
