Welcome to Khadimnagar National Park. When you entered here you will see a welcome board with some basic and important information about it in your left and a beautiful seating area in your right. You can also see a semi-long stairs is waiting to take you up for experiencing tree activities and zip lining.
Khadimnagar National Park was declared as national park by the Bangladesh government on 13th April 2006. It compasses 678.80 hectares of hilly land and surrounded by the six tea gardens. It has a natural rhyme, various species of bamboo, various species of animals, wild orchid, segun garden and a bomb hut (boma ghor) where several types of weapons were kept during 2nd world war.
This park is located about 15 km away from Sylhet city towards the Sylhet-Jaflong highway past the shrine of Shah Poran. On the way to the park from Khadimnagar intersection, Khadimnagar tea garden is waiting to greet you with its absorbing lush green warmth.
How to go:
Sylhet (Bandar Bazar) to Khadimnagar Choumuhoni by local CNG - 20 BDT (0.24 USD)
Khadimnagar Choumuhoni to Khadimnagar National Park by local CNG - 20 BDT (0.24 USD)
You can use private car or reserved bus or hire a CNG as well.
Entry Ticket:
Adult: 23 BDT (including 15% VAT)
Students & Kids: 11.50 BDT (including 15% VAT)
Foreigners: 5 USD + 15% VAT
What to explore:
Walking Trails: one is for 2 hours and another one is for 45 minutes. In front of the local forest office, there is a map of the trails or you can hire a local guide.
Tree activities: There are 4 types of tree activities. The total cost of it is 100 BDT (1.18 USD).
Zip lining: 100 BDT (1.18 USD)
Tenting: 500 BDT (5.89 USD) per night. They have total 12 tents. Each one can accommodate 2 persons.
Cottage: 1 room 1500 BDT (17.68 USD) and 2 rooms 2500 BDT (29.47 USD). Almost 5 or 7 persons can accommodate in 2 rooms.
Food facilities: There is no shop or restaurant here. You have to go Khadimnagar choumuhoni to buy food. It’s better to bring food items with you or if you confirm them, they will cook for you.
Cost of Local Guide for Trekking: 200 BDT (2.36 USD)
