I would love to try Kenkey sometimes as you mentioned it is like the tuo from northern part of Nigeria, same place where I come from. But unfortunately our people still wrap it inside virgin plastic nylon.

I believe this would be a new development if we adopt the warping in a clean corn husk instead to help save the environment pollution of plastic.
