Built by the French in 1897 and inaugurated in 1899, the Ke Ga Lighthouse was constructed entirely using granite imported from France.
The tower is octagonal, 41.1 meters high (or approximately 65 meters from sea level). Inside, there is a spiral staircase with 184 steps leading to the top.
It is famous for its strangely shaped rock formations stacked on top of each other. During low tide (usually in the late afternoon of April, May, and June in the lunar calendar), you can walk on the sandbar connecting the mainland to the island.
The entrance fee is 70,000 VND per person (this includes the cost of renting a speedboat to get there), allowing unlimited access to the lighthouse. If you wish to return to the mainland, simply call the number on the ticket.
