The 2026 Katê Festival in Phan Thiet, Vietnam, will take place from October 9 to October 12, 2026, at the Pol Sa Inu Tower relic site (Phu Thuy Ward).
Centered around the main celebration on October 10, the festival—themed “Katê Festival: Preserving and Spreading the Values of Cham Cultural Heritage”—will feature a sacred and vibrant atmosphere. Highlights include the ceremonial procession of the Goddess Po Sah Inu’s vestments and the ritual bathing of the deity’s statue, all accompanied by the rhythmic sounds of Paranung drums and Saranai trumpets, alongside colorful traditional Cham fan dances.
In addition to these ancient spiritual rites, visitors can explore exhibitions of national treasures, observe the craftsmanship of traditional Cham brocade weaving and pottery, and participate in activities such as ginger-cake-making contests and folk games that showcase the rich, authentic beauty of the local culture.
