Beside rice farming and fishing, the people of this province are making pots, vases and various others types of ceramics during the off harvest seasons. The quiet village of Ondong Rossey surrounded by serene. rice fields dotted with sugar palms is where the Khmer red pottery originates. Almost every household in this area is making some form of pottery. The pots are mostly unpainted but decorated with etched designs. The traditional process of making pots is fascinating to observe.
