For those of you who is a K-Pop or K-Drama fan, you will be very happy to visit this convenience store! If you are not a fan of them, don’t worry because visiting this place will bring a new shopping and ramyeon dining experience!
So, let me introduce you to a franchise Korean style convenience store that has been established for the first time in Medan, North Sumatera that now has so many outlets spread along big cities in Indonesia, including Jakarta.
This is K3Mart.
The outlet that I would like to review now is K3Mart in Old Shanghai Sedayu City Kelapa Gading. Not only to buy snacks and drinks, we could also dine in here to enjoy various of instant noodles where we could choose directly (we could also choose to cook it by ourselves or let the staff cooks for us with additional fee IDR 14,000 and we will get the egg). K3Mart also serves various oden, street foods in skewers, desserts, and drinks.
Their outlet here is not that big, but it was still fun to choose which product, snack, drink to have until we got seated and enjoyed what we have chosen beforehand
The cooking and dining area are on the second floor that consists of indoor and outdoor dining areas. The place is so sweet and girly with pink as the dominant color.
Green onions, sliced carrots, and chilli are the free toppings for the ramyeon. So, feel free to get them as you like
Since this is located in Old Shanghai, from the second floor we could see directly the surroundings with oriental Chinese-style buildings. So beautiful! What a nice and fun experience to be here!
That’s so beautiful and delicious ramyeon you posted there @Velvel . We also had something special in Kerala, India. There japanese cafe in Kochi, Kerala called Ogawa japanese cafe . Main chef and owner is a Japanese person who came to start a cafe. Inside of the cafe is just like Japanese style with wood work!
Those foods look delicious, @Velvel . I have tried Korean food a few times and I loved it. Your photos just made me want to try again. Funny that I tried my first sushi in the USA at a Korean store in Dallas, not at a Japanese restaurant, and I loved it. We have quite a few Korean stores here, H-Mart is one of them. I go there mostly to buy fish. They have varieties of fresh seafood, that includes crab, octopus and calamari. I love shopping at H Mart.
Your pictures say you had a wonderful time there. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Absolutely @TusharSuradkar . K-pop fans, especially girls are so happy coming here, including my ex intern who I brought here. She’s a K-pop fan. She was so grateful because I brought her here
Indeed @Silvi ! I love Korean ramyeon!
Talking about spiciness, it depends on the seasoning. But still, if we talk about spiciness, Indonesian spicy seasonings are spicier!
Can you tolerate spicy and how’s you spicy level?
Thank you for the kind words @Rahul001
I love Japanese foods, too. The cafe looks comfortable and I could see some cute Pokemon dolls!
It’s good to know that the owner and chef are Japanese. The taste must be legit!
This is my favorite Japanese cafe in Jakarta : Kohicha Japanese Cafe
I’m not sure if the owner and chef are Japanese, but the foods and coffee are great!
So, what’s your favorite food and drink in Ogawa Japanese Cafe?
Hello @SoniaK
Thank you for reading my post
Was it the Japanese sushi that you try for the first time in a Korean restaurant?
I guess there must be Kimbap, mustn’t it?
I’ve been to H Mart Buena Park with Michelle last year after we had our dinner at a Vietnamese noodle restaurant there. And I could say that I love it, too! That’s my kind of place
Good to hear that you often buy the fresh seafood there. If you miss Japanese snacks, H Mart could help!
Kimbap should be rolled and covered with seaweed @SoniaK .
Well, I’m not sure if it’s kimbap, looks more appropriate for a sushi hahaha…
Yes, you have to try the other interesting snacks, too! And be careful when choosing the Japanese snacks. Make sure that you find the Halal ones.
Hello @Tony , It’s been a long! How are you doing? Where are you in Japan now?
Yes, this kind of cheerful store is always interesting to explore, especially if you’re a noodle fan.
