Hello @SweetAisya ,

Welcome to Connect!

Thank you for sharing your photos. Do you like eating durian? I’ve heard a lot of opinions from the people who have tried it. After all, it is one of the smelliest fruits in the world. Also, I know that there is a certain time of the year when a lot of tourists visit Malaysia to eat durians. Tell us about your experience.

As it looks like it is the first time you are posting in the forum, why don’t you explore the many sections of the site and check out the conversations happening among our Local Guides? You can check these 14 helpful tips for using Connect.

Ah, durians!! It’s been a while since I’ve had them! The closest I can get here (in Manchester, UK) is durian flavoured ice cream! Some may find the strong smell of durians to be off-putting but I think for most Asians brought up with this amazing fruit, the smell is lovely!

Thanks @SweetAisya for reminding me of home (I’m from Kuching, Sarawak and one of my cousins is actually in Penang!). As @MoniDi has commented, a bit more detail is always useful so for future posts, do give us (the readers) more juicy details; what makes it special, why do you like it, how to eat it, etc.

And welcome to Connect!
