There are so many colors in nature. I always love the green color of nature and usually hate the red color. But after visiting the Shimul garden, I just started loving it. How beautiful the color is!
I’m truly grateful to that person named Joynal Abedin who has planted about 2000 Shimul trees on an average of 100 Bighas of land along the Jadukata river at Tahirpur, a Upazilla of Sunamgonj District.
Do you know the specialty of this garden? As it is square shaped, so no matter from which angle you see, you’ll find the same parallel view of it.
Best time to go:
From end of the winter to beginning of the spring (End of the January to middle of the February) when new shimul flower blooms on all the branches of tree. It lasts for only one month of the year.

Enjoy the red beauty of nature.

Riding horse (50 BDT / 0.59 USD for 5 minutes).

Capture the beautiful moment with crown made by shimul flower. Several frames are also there for capturing photo.

Sunflower garden at Swadhin Bazar (On the way from Sunamgonj bridge to Shimul garden).

Motor bike perking area available.

Wheelchair, private car or picnic buses are not accessible. You have to keep your private car or picnic bus at Laurer Gar Bazar. From there you can hire a motor bike, or you can choose to walk to reach shimul Garden.

You can walk from there or you can hire a motor bike for 100 BDT (1.18 USD).
