Joloshree Restaurant is a floating food joint at Chandannagar, Hooghly, West Bengal. The restaurant is owned by West Bengal Tourism Department but operated by a local vendor.
Yes it is floating. The ambiance is awesome. Hot and tasty food supplied maintaining hygiene protocols. Had lunch here third time.
This time we have ordered tandoori pomfret fish which was excellent. Size and quality of the fish was nice. Also we had steamed rice, Sorshe Bhetki, Polaw and bengali styled Mutton curry.
For vegetarians we choose Kofta and Paneer. All was fantastic. Upper deck we reserved for us.
Service is overall good including the behavior of all the staffs. The place is recommended for visitors of chandannagar.

Yes @TusharSuradkar we enjoyed the food. This is a restaurant located in Chandannagar (Hooghly District - near Kolkata). We call it a part of little Europe as this place was once ruled by the french. For the information, we got independence on 1947 but till 1952 this place was under the french rule. However at Kolkata you can stay overnight in this type of launches.
