Today we are meeting another inspiring woman entrepreneur — Bhagyashri Fulchand Londhe Tai, who has been successfully growing her business for the last 11–12 years under the name Jijau Products.
Bhagyashri Tai’s husband is a farmer. Since agricultural income is often uncertain, she felt that there should be an additional source of income to support the family. With this thought, she started her own business through the Jijau Women Self-Help Group, where she began producing food items needed throughout the year such as papad like poha papad,ragi papad, udid papad,kurdaya, chutneys like shengdana, flex chutney, garlic chutney, and chili powder.
The initial investment for this business was arranged from their farming income itself. The grains required for making these products are grown in their own farm, and she uses these ingredients to prepare her products. With great enthusiasm, she began building this business step by step.
Jahanpur, a small village in Barshi Taluka, is where Bhagyashri Tai lives. With the intention of contributing to her family and making a difference from her small village, she started this business with determination. Her husband has always supported her immensely in this journey.
She sells her products in the local village markets, and also participates in large exhibitions where she displays and sells her products. Starting under the name Jijau Products, she has gradually achieved significant success.
In the beginning, she faced many challenges while selling her products. As she was not very talkative by nature, it was difficult for her to attract customers. However, by regularly participating in exhibitions and markets, she gradually gained confidence and experience. Today, she comfortably presents and sells her products to customers.
Inspired by her determination, many women from nearby homes have also started entering this business, and Bhagyashri Tai actively supports and guides them.
Truly, today we need such women entrepreneurs in our society. I salute Bhagyashri Tai for her courageous decision. I have also added her business on Google Maps, which will surely help her gain more visibility and customers. Today, shopkeepers even visit her home to purchase and stock her products in their shops.
Such inspiring journeys deserve to be shared and celebrated.
