Jayaparvati Vrat is celebrate in Gujarat and some other Western India parts.
Jaya-Parvati Vrat is a five day ritual observed in the month of Asadha.
It starts on the thirteenth day of the Shukla Paksha (as per Hindu calendar).
last day of vrat, the Girls who have observed the fast have to remain awake the whole night of the fifth day. That Night also called as jagran.
It is believed that these vrat brings happiness and blesses.
During this period, the market gets flooded with unsalted banana wafers in particular.
