I did a tour of Japan last month - 2019 March. Such a happy tour… The beauty, the culture, and above all the people - perhaps one of the nicest people, very genuine in their politeness and helpfulness.
@Sarath-Ab very nice
Thanks… it was great… I have heaps of photos, pity I cannot share it with people.
amazing!
Hello @Sarath-Ab
Thank you for introducing Japan🗾! I am Japanese.
You went through lots of the most famous tourist destinations. If you like, please tell us what you think of each place. What kind of impression did you have?
Thanks YasumiKikuchi, Good idea… I will give my short views about each… in this thread… need some time though😊
Himeji Castle: I am reproducing my review in Google Maps:
Located about halfway between Osaka and Hiroshima, Himeji Castle is a fantastic place, Thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Not only is it a beauty from a distance, but even better on close up. A 7 floor wooden construction (externally appears to be 5 floors) dating from 1333, renovated at times is in now very good condition. Public are allowed to climb up to the 7th floor, where a small shrine is housed.Various aspects of the castle are well illustrated and explained. A must, particularly if you are driving to Hiroshima.
Thanks @YasumiKikuchi , Good idea… I will give my short views about each… in this thread… need some time though😊, I have already done that for the Himeji Castle.

Hi @Sarath-Ab
Thank you for the detailed summary. Local Guide Connect is pleased with articles like you😊.
Kinkaku-ji, What a place. Here’s my short review on the place:
The Golden Pavilion fronted by the lake is a thing of unbelievable beauty. Whichever way you click your camera/phone you end up with a great shot. The old tea ceremony house, and the temple adds to it, not to mention the 600 yr old bonsai tree. The history associated with it is fascinating.

Hi@Sarath_AB,
Thanks for the nice pics and also for the brrief note. Human behaviour we face which we like/dislike. Cultural orientation probably determines the human behaviour. Can you throw some light on the determinants of variations in the human behaviour across nations?
Best wishes.
Great question @shantanu-kaizen , “…determinants of variations in the human behaviour across nations…” Rather weighty subject, shall we leave it for a later time !!
