Facts and beliefs of JAPALI TEMPLE.

Japali is a beautiful picturesque place in Thirumala. This is situated in Eastern Ghats mountain ranges in Andhra Pradesh, India.

Japali Hanuman Temple is located here in Thirumala and famous among many Tribals, who visit this place once in a year without fail.

Lord Hanuman is worshipped by believed by Hindus as their saviour. The lord bestows us with bravery and good health. He safeguards from all evils.

This temple is located in a hilly region, surrounded by various trees, birds and animals. It is a very beautiful place with mountain springs. The chirping sounds of the birds and the trees waving to the wind gives one an awesome feeling and beautiful experience.

Many Temples in India are located in mountain regions, so that normal people will also undertake treks as part of their religious duties. Otherwise only those who like travel alone will undertake such trecks. Sometimes not everyone in the family is not allowed for tours except for a piligrimage tour, that too very rarely.

BELIEFS AND PRACTICES:

Many beliefs are prevalent among the devotees and pilgrims. Their practices are apart from proving by Science. We cannot question their authenticity. Just admire them. A very few which I know I have given below.

In the above picture one can observe there are many piles of rocks. The belief is that if they pile up 3 to 4 rocks together they can construct their own house. Many feel their wishes are granted.

Another such belief is described below.

The above picture shows slings with small pieces of rocks are tied to trees. The people believe that such mock slings or cradles tied to the trees in such holy places will get their wish of having children come true.

Also it is believed that offerings to God will please Him and He blesses His devotees.

Neatly arranged pan leaf garlands are offered to Lord Hanuman for adorning Him. Also red glitter cloth, coconuts and bananas are offered.

Another belief is taking bath in the holy waters in the Temple tank will relieve them from evils and give good health. Below is the picture of the Temple tank behind the tree. The forest squirrel is seen holding the coconut piece.

Apart from faiths and beliefs this place a wonderful place with cool breeze and pure air from trees and medicinal plants. One should visit this place for sure. Please see More photos

There are two ways to reach this temple. One can either use the well built walkable steps or rather undertake a rough way trek to this Temple.

I am happy that #TeamIndia is active now, with already two post ongoing.

Fact and beliefs are an interesting aspect of every religion, and the beliefs are probably the most interesting aspect. I am particularly amazed of the stacked stones, as an hope for building their own house.
