Jamu Gendong, selling traditional herbal medicine by carrying it on the back

Jamu is traditional herbal that commonly can be find in Indonesia.
This herbal medicine is one of Javaneese heritage.
There are many variant of this herbal medicine, but I just want to tell how this herbal medicine deliver from the home industry to the buyer.
The way to sell this traditional herbal medicine is put the liquid to 0ne to two litre or glass bottle, and put into round bamboo basket.
Add some glassess and wrapped the bamboo bowl with woven fabric.
Special woven fabric that usually use to carryng traditional herbal medicine rounded bamboo,basket called kain lurik.

Usually woman who carrying herbal medicine by carrying on the back, and walk from whon place to another place and shoutout loud "Jamu … Jamu ".

Jamu, like other medicine, every ingredients has its own purpose.

There for make children easy to eat it is, bitter some times children are crying when they should drink this Jamu. But it is for the shake of the children heathy, if children lost their appetite to eat, they will easily get sick.

Some jamu is taste sweet too.

You are right @OlgaKlimchik .

It is full of glass bottles.

You can imagine how many kilograms its weight and she should walk with this heavy basket.
