Jammu the wonderful city of temples

Jammu is culturally a cosmopolitan city . It is a true replica of India . It has people of different cultures , regions ,color, linguistic diversification and religion . Yet they share a perfect harmonical cord of oneness amongst themselves. All the different festivals are celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm . The topography of the land is also diversified with high mountain peaks and the planes being irrigated by the waters of different rivers,canals and rivulets.The variety of rice grown here are also is famous in whole of the country. A large number of tourists throng here to see the beautifull diverse environment close to nature . The land is famous for the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi Ji Situated in trikuta hills . Every Place of Jammu has a miniscule history associated to it , be it the Gumat, or Bahu fort or the Amar Palace in the heart of city or may be the outskirts like the Reasi fort , the Narian fort of Rajouri. All the rivers flowing through Jammu are treated as poise and pure. The Local deities here are also very much popular and sacred . The Sukrala Mata Temple, the Purmandal, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Gurudwara in Reasi and the list is extensive and these places are visited by poeple of all walks of life with full honor and reverence .
