One of the Oldest Jamia Masjid Shareef in this division which was built by Sultan Kathai almost two decades ago.The reconstruction of this structural monument began in 2016 after the old one caught fire in January, 2016. Earlier, the foundation of the Masjid was first laid before around two centuries. This was one of the oldest prayer houses of Muslims in this area. Located in a picturesque village of Bijhama, around 90 kilometres from summer capital Srinagar, this Masjid has been holding congregational prayers of Friday and eids since many decades.
