I recently [ July 22,2023 ] visited Prinsep Ghat in Kolkata and was blown away by its beauty. The ghat is located on the banks of the Hooghly River and offers stunning views of the sunset. In the evening, the ghat is illuminated by lights, creating a magical atmosphere.
I took a few photos of the sunset at Prinsep Ghat, which I’d like to share with you. I hope you enjoy them!

In addition to being a beautiful place to watch the sunset, Prinsep Ghat is also a historic site. It was built in the 19th century by Sir James Prinsep, a British archaeologist and numismatist. The ghat is named after him.
Prinsepe Ghat is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. It’s a great place to relax, take in the views, and enjoy the sunset. If you’re ever in Kolkata, I highly recommend checking it out.
