I had the chance to visit Jameel Arts Centre in Dubai. I had an amazing experience looking at the drawings and paintings displayed there. It’s a different feel because those drawings explained the hardships faced by people during war, their distress and their feelings. Before entering the Centre there is dome like structure - Tarabot A dispersed pavilion hosting life representing a living forum.
This Centre has a library with a great ambience. It had enclosed reading spots, digital books. There are many books related to art and architecture abd books on sustainability. I loved the book related to flowers.
This place has wheelchair Accessibility and we maintained toilets . There is a walking path around the Centre facing the waterfront.
Hope you enjoyed my post. I have shared my experiences, please share yours.
The artistic depiction of the effects of war is heartwarming. Plus, the library looks like a haven for art and book lovers!
Thank you for sharing this post @Gurukrishnapriya
That’s a beautiful post @Gurukrishnapriya !
I believe that if a person loses their sense of art, no matter what form it takes, then nothing remains. Seeing your post made me happy that you spent a fruitful day at Jameel Arts.
Thanks for sharing your post!
All art and sculptures are impressive @Gurukrishnapriya
Excellent photos and especially the main dome looks amazing.
Is the art gallery free for visitors?
Really impressed, dear @Gurukrishnapriya
Jameel Art Centre looks very nice - I fully agree with you.
The tables kept like an arch - are they made up of wood? How this structure sustain the heat of Dubai? Astonishing
Well, your photos are very contextual and impressive.
Thanks for sharing these…
Looks like you had difficulties in composing on mobile… right?
Best regards
@Gurukrishnapriya Beautiful captures, Thanks for sharing about this place. I’m a cactus collector too. I love to be there before that canvas and take a picture like yours.
