Jakhu Temple world's tallest Idol statue

Hello guys i hope you all doing super duper great.

Today I am going to share one of the amazing tourist attractions called Jakhu temple located in Shimla (Himachal Pradesh, India) it is also called as Jakhoo temple it is an ancient temple dedicated to Hindu deity lord Hanuman.

The temple is located in Shimla on the most highest peak at the the height of (8,054 ft) above sea level.

Shree Hanuman Jakhu is a statue situated in the premises in one of the tallest statue in the world.

The idol is 108 ft high (33 meter) made in November 4th 2010. It surpasses the statue of Christ_the_Redeemer_(statue) which is 98 feet High. (30 meter) in Rio de Janeiro.

The cost on making this statue was spent nearly 1.5cr Inr and according to the public the money was donated by famous Bollywood Indian Actor Abhishek Bachchan.

According to Ramayana Lord Hanuman was spotted at this location to rest for a while in the search of Sanjivni botti to revive lord lakshmana.

The Jakhu temple is accessible by foot, horse , taxi and rope way. The Jakhu temple rope way is an aerial lift that links a point between center of shimla to the temple. It was developed by the jagson international limited in 2017.

The idol is so huge you can literally see from down any of the Road. This photo taken from the famous Mall road of Shimla while taking walking tour.

The temple is quite peaceful there is also a small garden area where you can sit and the enjoy the beautiful mountains views.There is also small canteen near the garden area where you can grab something to eat.

Please do take care while clicking photos and climbing steps this place you can see monkeys they can snatch your cell phone or specks in order not to have face such encounter please be cautious.

Paritala Anjaneya Temple has the tallest Hanuman temple which is 135 feet as per Google.

Dear @TravellerG i dint mentioned this is the only world tallest statue it’s among one of the tallest statue in the world.
