Jaime Duque Park Bogota Colombia

Jaime Duque Park is a work that was given thanks to the goodwill of Jaime Duque Grisales (1.917 - 2.007), was born in Villamaria (Caldas) in the month of June. I study aviation at Purdue University in Indiana, United States.

In 1952 he retired and with savings and loans he founded a construction company with which he made more than 300 homes and buildings. Jaime Duque Park began his works as one of the greatest dreams of this entrepreneur, in the year 1978 and opened in 1983 and this great work is considered one of the best 5 attractions to visit in Latin America.

It is so big that it opens at 10 o’clock in the morning and you can be there all day and not reach it completely.

I tell you details of the beauties that are inside
Replica of the Taj Majal or “Crown of the Palace”, is a funerary monument that was built between 1631 and 1654 in the city of agra, in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. The monument is on the banks of the river Yamuna, the work was ordered by the Muslim emperor Shah Jahan belonging to the Mongo dynasty and is a funeral monument because it was made in honor of his favorite wife Arjumand Banu Begum or Mumtaz Mahal who died in the middle of the birth of his daughter number 14.

Scale Dinosaurs exhibition where children and adults can take pictures and even enter some of them. These animals were the kings of the planet for centuries until 65 million years ago a meteor hit the earth and change the climatic conditions of the planet, ending the habitat of these giants and leading them to extinction.

Replicas and murals on a scale of some of the 7 wonders of the world, there you can see things like the gardens of Babylon, the lighthouse of Alexandria, the pyramids of Egypt, the temple of sagebrush, among others.

Exhibition of typical costumes of the world and historical moments, this is a journey through a labyrinth where artists have duplicated the costumes of various cultures and also some of the most important moments in the history of mankind, such as the arrival in Antarctica , the arrival to the moon, the first balloon flight, the signature of the Constitution of the United States, among many others.

A map of Colombia in relief to observe how the topography of the country is, this idea was the founder of the park and as a pilot I saw this wonderful show always and wanted to transmit it to many more people in the best way.

There is a train that goes around the park to see it from above and have a different view, it takes a tour every 45 minutes.

There is an airplane, a ship and a submarine of the armed forces of Colombia, the bueque and the submarine can be traversed.

There is a small but beautiful zoo where you can observe some national animals and others from the outside.
The condor of the Andes, flamingos, monkeys, tapirs, deer, bison, a hippopotamus, pumas, lions, tigers, snakes, birds, ducks, bears, owls, parrots, and some more.

These can be seen in a beautiful journey through the ecological trails, full of plants and pure air.

There are also boat tours, water bikes, and kayaks.
I wish you can visit this beautiful park

Hi thanks
Every word was written by me, there are no external sources, everything is my property, maybe I see that I am wrong to write some, or maybe in some parts I had to use the google translator because my English is medium level.

This may be the impression that they are not mine, but I say again everything I wrote.
Many Thanks
