The Sri Jain Shwetamber Nakoda Ji Teerth in Rajasthan is one of the holiest places for the Jain sect. I visited here in March of 2021 and traveled here on way to Jodhpur from Barmer.
By the time I reached Nakoda, it was lunchtime and I slowed down my car to capture the photo of the welcome gate of the temple complex.
At the same time, I noticed Jai Bhairav Restaurant on the left side and pulled over the car to try out lunch at this hotel.
I ordered the Rajasthani Thali and waited for a few minutes since there weren’t many customers in the later afternoon.
Soon a lavish spread of the thali arrived and it was served very elegantly.
As you can notice in the Thali above, there were 2 Subjis, 1 Daal, Papad, Rotis, Dahi, salad, and rice.
Quality is also seen to be very good.
My Impression
Overall, the food and the Thali were great value for money.
I got more than expected for an economical price.
Accessibility Features
The main entrance is leveled with the main road and there was ample accessible car parking.
The dining hall is on the upper floor and there was no elevator though the staircase had a railing.
