Isa Khan’s Tomb is dedicated to Pashtun noble in the courts of Sher Shah Suri (founder of Suri Empire). The tomb is located inside the Humayun’s Tomb complex.
@Tushar18 In Bangladesh we also had an Isa Khan. He was a brave Zamindar in our country from 1576 to 1599. He was so brave that still, we remember him respectfully. Thanks a lot for sharing these nice photos with us. I liked them very much.
Thanks for the appreciation @MukulR and also for giving this information. I think I’ve studied about him in junior classes, as of course we had a common history before 1947.
I read that he belongs to Sonargaon, which I think is famous for its architectural designs. A good number of British era buildings and Bengali architecture can be seen here.
This tomb is situated inside the Humayun’s Tomb complex and thus its entrance fee is included under that of Humayun’s Tomb. It remains open for tourists on all days.
I live in the same city, but my place is quite far from here. You can reach by multiple modes - Metro, Public Bus, Cab, and Personal Vehicle.
Thanks for moving my post to the appropriate category.
