Salaleh or Salala is a village in Ardabil province, Garmi city, Moran region, Azadlu region. This village is located in the west of Zahra village (Zahra), the center of “Moran” section, 30 km east of Garmi province of Ardabil province (Iran).

To the east of the village of Salala and to the west of its ancient hill flows a relatively watery river known as the Premier Tea, Dash Debi Tea or Salala Tea. The ancient hill of Salala is located between the two rivers Balaja Chai (small river) and Salala Chai. In the past, water mills have been active along the Salala River. Traces of these mills, known as “Su dəyirmani”, still remain.
After the advent of motor mills (c. 1335–1337 AH), popularly known as “Oud Dyirmani”, the water mills ceased to function.
Salaleh village is considered by tourists and Moran nature lovers due to its ancient hills, beautiful heights and eye-catching nature. The reputation of this village is due to the existence of the historical hill Hemmat Tappeh C, which is located in the southeastern part of Salaleh and has produced the first cloth in Iran. It was discovered in this hill, which is now kept in the National Museum of Iran. The cloth discovered in Hemmat Hill was originally red and has a checkered background with a broken cross or the same as the sun wheel or the seal wheel.
