So when adding photos from the google maps app there’s suggested section and then theres the rest of the photos. However it doesn’t let you see all photos from the list cause when i scroll down it stops eventually. I know i have more photos than what the app shows for me, so is there a way to see all the photos from within the app? I know for iPhone im able to select in the photos app itself and post them from the share sheet but sometimes that doesn’t work for me.

I do not think that to be a problem specific to any phone model or OS.

There are two routes to add photos. The first is going through contribute -->contribute now and then photos suggestion appear. It’s slow even on an Android phone.

However, after clicking contribute and then on the camera icon, smaller thumbnails appear which can be scrolled faster.

Nevertheless, please clear the app cache and storage and then try once again. Also, ensure that Internet connectivity is adequate.

Usually I do check directly from the Photos (library) application to check for all the images on the device, then having them shared in Google Maps. (would you mind sharing what difficulties are you facing with the technique?)

Do feel free to check as as @C_T kindly suggested, should it be any updates on your end do feel free to share with us.

  • @sonnyNg So this is a Screenshot*of what i mean. It’s not a big deal, its something a noticed for a while. So in the screenshot its just a random spot on the page that shows you your photos on your phone that you want to upload for a specific location. When I scroll all the way down it ends at a certain photo. I know therse more but they dont show so I’m just assuming its because i have 1000s of photos stored on my phone. Also I couldn’t find the cache thing and I’m too lazy to delete and redownload the app.
