Some of you might remember our previous education presentation that we made available to Local Guides seeking to share information about the program with others. We’ve made a few updates to the Map and the Local Guides program since that was originally shared, so we’re excited to present a newly updated version for you to use.
This educational guide details everything you need to know about the program, from how to join for those who are not yet a member of the community, to how to contribute on Google Maps, tips for leveling up, and more. You can use it to present at a meet-up for new Local Guides, share with friends, or even use it yourself to brush up on program basics if you feel that you need or want a refresher.

Hello @KatieMcBroom , interesting post about the guidelines to follow when organizing an LG meeting, and the official resources that can be used. Although I have not yet participated in some of these events, I am interested in staying up to date on this important topic. I congratulate her on the clarity of the writing. Greetings from Sinaloa, Mexico.
I have not introduced myself yet, I am still learning to navigate in connect:) I found your ideas to be refreshing! The name tags with conversation starters is a great idea. A way for a socially awkward person to have something pre thought out to break the ice. I bookmarked as per your great suggestion. Good thing because I am new at this and am learning and I want to be good at it:). Thanks for sharing and including me in the local guide community. Brilliant ideas
It is a bit confusing that you link to the same slides twice at the top. Have you considers making 2 versions: one for mobile and one for desktop. Or at least organize them so it is easier to use one or the other?
Thanks for the many design templates. Really useful.
