Hamadan is a unique city in Iran. In addition to being one of the ancient capitals of Iran, it has many beautiful natural landscapes in its vicinity. In the shortest possible time you will enter the beautiful gardens and villages from downtown. If you travel to Iran be sure to visit Hamedan. The perfect time to travel to Hamadan is spring and autumn. I have tried to present all these villages with good pictures. In these photos I will introduce the village of Khau.

Wow! This place seems to be very beautiful. I think I read something about this place long time ago. If I’m not mistaken this place is considered the oldest city from the Persian empire, is it correct?
I could see a few mountains on the photos, would you say that this place is a good one for hiking or trekking?

There is much debate about Iran’s oldest city, but Hamedan is one of the oldest Iranian cities.
Yes, hiking and spending time in nature is one of the habits of the city’s inhabitants. Most of the mountains around Hamedan are capable of hiking, which is recommended, of course, with the proper coordination and guidance of experts.
