Hello! Being a Guide is a ‘great adventure!’ I love seeing all the places I’ve never been too in NYC. Once in a while I have a conversation with someone I just meet out there.
I recently accepted the invite and attended the Google ‘Contributor Conversation’ at pier 57 in NYC. It was a great meet! We were allowed to use our ‘neck ID’ to purchase food and drink free of charge (on Google) afterwards! Such a great reward… and very tasty. I had a truly great time meeting some of the ‘people behind the scenes’ at Google and the many other ‘Local Guides’ that were there. Pier 57 is a brand new, incredible location… check out some videos I attached to the post about it on my profile!
I highly recommend going to one of these if anyone gets the chance to do so! - Evan

3. What I love about being a Local Guide: Being a local guide, I have started to see things in detail. During the visit, I not only enjoyed the place but also tried to find the facts. So, I always look for universal accessibility, kid-friendliness, hygiene, inspiring factors, qualities, etc. Most of the time I got several responses from my reviews. People are getting help from those for their visit. It’s now a kind of journey for me to visit places and help people to make their journey beautiful!
4. My favorite thing to explore: Kids-friendly places, universally accessible places, bars/restaurants, historical places. I think my contributions help people to get a nice meal or a nice place to enjoy. I also try to answer people’s inquiries about my reviewed places. Even, I recently have started to contribute to Google Mapper. So, I know my country and love to share that knowledge with others.
5. Fun fact about me: I love spending time with my design and art as an architect and artist. I love to read books! I am always open to meeting new people in new places!

Yes, I would like to. I love reading about the ideas and discoveries of people around the world, and I would like to share them with them. I am a car and cargo mechanic, and I travel around Algeria National for the purpose of work. It gives me the opportunity to go and explore new places and adventures, but I do not have any experience about this work.
