Hi everyone! 
I’m Hirusha Shane from Sri Lanka 
, and I recently reached Level 5 as a Local Guide on Google Maps.
I’m passionate about helping travelers and locals discover real and meaningful places — from peaceful cultural landmarks like Nelligala Temple and Gangaramaya, to beautiful nature spots like Diyatha Uyana, and cozy city cafés like Ibson’s Choice Café.
I contribute by writing honest reviews, sharing original photos, and answering questions to support the Google Maps community.
Outside of Maps, I’m building a small virtual travel planning project called Discover Lanka, where I hope to connect more people with authentic Sri Lankan experiences.

Мені подобається фіксувати красу мого міста та інших місць🏫 на фото і ділитися цим з усім світом. Мене надихає допомагати людям відкривати приховані перлини — від затишних кав’ярень і місцевих ринків до яскравих муралів і унікальних локацій, про які не пишуть у путівниках. Бути частиною цієї глобальної спільноти мотивує мене досліджувати ще більше й робити корисні внески.
Я люблю відкривати нові смаки солодощів, красиві архітектурні куточки 
та атмосферні деталі маленьких міст. Також мені подобається писати чесні відгуки, які допомагають мандрівникам

Despite doing my best with full and accurate edits, Google Maps seems to reject most of them instantly! 
Still, I keep going — trying to understand the system better and improve with each attempt.
