Hi everyone! My name is Aminu, and I am thrilled to join this global community. I am a Level 5 Local Guide based in Jigawa State, Nigeria.
I joined the Local Guides program because I am passionate about digital inclusion. In my region, many important landmarks and local businesses are still waiting to be discovered online. I love using my phone to put my community on the map—whether it’s adding missing places, correcting location details for housing estates, or reviewing government offices like the Ministry of Science and Technology.
My goal is to make Jigawa more accessible for both residents and visitors. When I’m not mapping, I enjoy exploring local tech hubs and fashion designs. I’m looking forward to learning from all of you and sharing more about the beautiful sights of northern Nigeria!
