Mojokerto, east java is a small city in Indonesia which have many historical site. Especially in Trowulan district, you can find many temples in there. First, you will find the Gateway temple named Wringin Lawang. Based on some opinion, this temple who has known from 1815 has functioned as the gate of all temples.
Next, you will find a biggest temple in Trowulan, named brahu temple. Based on Mpu sendok inscription, this temple is place to burn King Brawijaya’s death body. But in some research, they never found any death body.
Next, Tikus Temple. It is an ancient ritual bathing from dating Majapahit period.
Next, Bajang Ratu Temple. It’s a roofed gateway. The gateway was function as the entrance into a sacred building to commemorate the death of Jayanegara.
