After a successful upload with VID2GSV there will be a new .sid file in your folder. Drag the .sid file and drop it on the CHECK tool to see the result message from Google. It should say “processing”. Here’s an example. If you don’t have a .sid file or the status does not say “processing”, it means you didn’t successfully upload to Google and you should investigate to see what was wrong with your uploading workflow.

Yes the screenshot you posted earlier shows some errors with file you tried to upload. Perhaps read through the readme.pdf again to be sure you’re doing all the steps.

  1. Transfer the two .insv video files to a folder on the desktop computer.
  2. Open the .insv file in Studio 2021 and export 360 video to an mp4 video file.
  3. Drag the insv file with 00 in the name together with the .mp4 file and drop them on the INSV2GPX tool to extract the GPX file.
  4. Open the GPX file with Notepad to see the GMT time and date.
  5. Rename the GPX and mp4 files showing the correct time and date you saw in the GPX file.
  6. Drag the GPX and .mp4 files and drop them on the VID2GSV tool to upload.

Yes, this time I loaded the video with the BUL2GSV and not with the VID2GSV, I followed the same steps as the first video that if it was uploaded correctly, I will continue to find out what happened. because I have already tried several ofrmas and it still does not work

Sorry to hear of your difficulties. As a test I used the Street View app to delete a couple of blue line map segments and used VID2GSV to re-upload them one at a time. At the conclusion of each upload there were no errors noted and in each case the .sid file appeared as expected in the file’s folder.

When I dragged and dropped the .sid files onto the CHECK tool, in each case Google returned the message “Status: processing” as expected.

The blue indicator lines appeared in the Street View app after 15 minutes as expected, so in least my case Google is working normally.

Did you get a .sid file at the conclusion of the upload and when you dropped it on the CHECK tool did the message returned from Google say “Status: processing”?

If when I loaded the sid in it throws me a message that I showed you previously, I will try with version 8 if it works for me. anyway thanks for your great help.

Look with version 8, I generate a connection error but when I loaded my first video if it came up with this same error but without problems.

Question, I recorded the video with my insta 360 x2 from my cell phone with HDR, does this influence the upload to google?

You might try it fresh with a different exported video from Studio 2020. Maybe a video that is not HDR. Going through the steps with a new video might show if the errors were from a HDR video.

The many many connection errors were happening to me also, however the videos did publish finally.

hi Rick_E, apparently there is a problem with google since Dean Zwikel’s sent an email saying that this problem exists.

Insta360 one x2 camera doesn’t work directly. but if you want to add blue line to maps you can try this tutorial.

Thanks for your kind help, but I have this doubt, I recorded with HDR and I get this error

Please do not record with HDR because the GPS information may not be saved correctly. Additionally, HDR does not work well while moving. It is meant for stationary images.

Support for Google Street View integration has allegedly been added in the latest update for the insta360 app. Attempting to cancel the cancellation of my order of the X2, and otherwise ordering it again

For what it’s worth the X2 has been out coming up on two years. So if the past is a guide, a refresh of the X2 may be coming before the end of the year.
