Hey there, thanks for your patience. I cannot see Wich error you are referring too, however I’d suggest to join the insta360 group on Facebook, our community is very helpful, hope this helps.
I am still not able to share videos for GSV. getting the same error again and again.
I am using insta360 one x with one x app.
I believe submitting via the app may have been removed by Google, but in any case there’s a better way to submit and it results in better quality images than using the ONE X app. The better way is using Dean Zwikel’s suite of Google Street View tools to upload.
To shoot video with the X2 and publish it as Street View blue lines you can use Dean’s UL2GSV software. The process is:
- Shoot video including GPS data (use Smart Remote or phone GPS).
- Stitch video using Insta360 Studio.
- Extract GPS data to a GPX file using my INSV2GPX tool
- Publish to Street View using my VID2GSV tool.
Please see the link below for more information and access to the software.

Compared to uploading with the ONE X app this method takes longer but gives better quality (5.7K vs 4K)
I observe the same error. Did you find a hind what the problem is?
You can download the new app from the insta360 site. it should fixed the issue. The error because of an update on Google Street View API.
Anyone manage to upload to GSV using Insta360 one x2?, ios app?
I have been trying since a VERY VERY VERY VERY long time to make a photo path using the camera but no luck, talked to the support team of Insta360 but they said “we have passed on the request for the feature to our software developers” but then no REAL fix to the issue, I’m severely disappointed and sad,.,. I really really really don’t want to PAY a 3 rd party software to make the photo path for me,., really desperate for answers,., please answer
Yes, many people are uploading to GSV for blue lines using the Insta360 ONE X2. But they are not uploading using the Insta360 ONE X2 app. The GSV feature was in the old ONE X app but is not in the new app, and there is no indication it ever will be added to the new app.
That does not mean you can’t upload ONE X2 video to GSV using another method. And it does not mean you have to pay to do it at least at this time.
The new and better way results in better quality images than using the ONE X app. The new and better way is using Dean Zwikel’s suite of Google Street View tools to upload.
To shoot video with the X2 and publish it as Street View blue lines using Dean’s UL2GSV software, the process is:
- Shoot video including GPS data (use Smart Remote or phone GPS).
- Stitch video to an .mp4 video using Insta360 Studio.
- Extract GPS data to a .GPX file using the INSV2GPX tool
- Open the .GPX file in notepad and take note of the GMT date.
- Rename both the .GPX file and .mp4 video file to the GMT date.
- Publish to Street View by dropping the GPX and .mp4 files together on the VID2GSV uploader tool.
Please see the link below for more information and access to the software.

Rick, thank u so much for replying and providing the links to dean’s blue line making software, I requested for access, any idea how long does it take to get the files?
and also could you please explain how the whole thing works(will need it when I get access to the google doc)
and also if possible could YOU share the files in that google drive since it looks like it’s gonna take a while to download it… thank u again

Hello, if Dean is available he normally responds quickly by an email that provides a link to his Google Drive. That’s where you download the files into a folder on your computer.
Follow the instructions carefully in the Readme or FAQ file for downloading and installing the software. Some antivirus software programs such as Norton 360 may flag these files as virus threats so you may need to momentarily turn off your antivirus while installing.
The basic steps for using the tools are listed in my previous edited message as well as in Dean’s instructions. The first time you do an upload it may seem complicated. But if you carefully follow the instructions the process will be simple after a few tries.
I am not able to share access to Dean’s files. Only he can do that.
Hope this helps.
Yea he gave access pretty quickly,.,., thank you for replying and giving instructions tho
Incredibly detailed @StephenAbraham
Is there any way to remove, blur or cover the car from SV? I can do editing on photos, but how to do those in videos for full blue line videos?
