Insta360 One X - Street View video mode. How-to for new users

sorry I failed to integrate the google street view application in the insta app 360 one x … what should i do? The google street view application is not among the available app options for sharing. I have already downloaded in advance the google street view application

To investigate the issue, can you verify if you are able to share any photo to ‘street’ view from the google photo app?

If yes, then i suspect the problem will probably be in the insta 360 app.

If no, try to reinstall the ‘google steet view’ app.

In any case, let us know…

The processing may have failed on an iPhone 6 because that phone five years old and under-powered to run the Insta360 ONE X app.

Hi did ever fix this? I get a similar code: Sharing failed 21113 (400)

I regretted buying it. :sob:

The images capture with Instal360 One X has bad quality, very blur, and gain. The video output mode looks like taking pictures with a Nokia phone in the 2000s.
So sad, :scream:

PLS turn off “nodes auto connect”~

Do you know if the insta360 remote (GPS) controller has a more sensitive GPS receiver (than in for example a Galaxy S9+ ?>>>

Don’t know about sensitivity, but in theory cell phones should be more accurate because in addition to assisted-GPS they also have Galileo and Glonass.

Perhaps your Google account has not yet been linked and authorized.

At the lower right corner of the Insta360 ONE X app click the gear icon to access Settings. In the Settings page, tap “Link Account” and make sure your Google account has been linked and authorized…

Try making sure your ONE X video taking parameters such as ISO are set to “Auto” and do not use HDR. Set the shutter speed to “Faster”.

@StephenAbraham Thanks for the great how-to!

Do you know if the newer Insta360 One X2 works like the Insta360 One in GSV?

No, the Insta360 ONE X2 uses the new unified app, which left out the share to GSV feature. With more time, effort, money, and work it may be possible to process video from the ONE X2 with one of the commercial paid apps such as GoThru and publish to Google Street View, but it would not be the same easy free process as with the ONE X.

Does the Insta360 One X2 use Flowstate stabilization in Intervalometer 360 photos mode to do horizon lock? I currently use the Insta360 One X in video mode because it does horizon lock, and photo mode doesn’t. But extracted photos from video mode are much lower quality than photo mode for Google Street View. If the Insta360 One X2 does photo horizon lock, then I can go back to using photo mode without the time consuming leveling processing I was doing.

Hi, I don’t use the ONE X2 because it doesn’t have the share to street view feature, so I don’t know the answer to your question. The Insta360 ONE X/X2 Facebook is active and would be a good place to ask, as is the Insta360 Reddit group.

Mikejbb, wondering what is it about extracted photos from GSV video mode that make them much lower quality? To me, my GSV blue line images from video look about the same as individual panos. Is it the way they appear on the web in GSV? Color, saturation, resolution? Also, are you using the Android app or iOS app? Just wondering… thanks.

Here’s one I uploaded to GSV from video using the ONE X app yesterday.

@LuisManjarres Hi, I’m experiencing this error code. What solution did you have with this problem?

@NelsonNdoz I am getting the same error code. Do you know how to fix this?

What error code?

I think it is a problem with the GSV interface. I have been getting that error for several weeks and I check on it daily.
