It has been a long time since my last post. Due to the Covid situation, was busy handling administrative matters. However during this period of time, we have been creating videos of recipes that is loved in this country I am living in. For context, I am a Singaporean living in Tangerang, Indonesia. (It is a 1 hour drive away from Jakarta). Been here the past 2 years and am loving every second of it. One of the best thing about this place is the food. It is exciting and full of spices and nowhere like any other place.
As the group of people who are creating the videos are indonesian, we have yet to add subtitles to this video. But we did add the method of cooking in the description. In any case, today’s dish is quite a favourite of the locals, Beef Rendang. Oh yes, this recipe was adapted from William Wongso and he was the one who taught Gordon Ramsay. While I cannot say for sure that it tastes as good as what the great Mr Ramsay manages, we hope this humble try could encourage you to give it a try.
